This role can be based remotely from home anywhere in the UK.

Role Description: As a Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will be critical in delivering our vaccine business aspirations. Your key responsibility will be to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare landscape. By collaborating with external partners and reflecting the voice of the customer, you will ensure that we remain relevant and informed in understanding the ever-evolving healthcare and public health landscape.

Responsibilities:

Build Advocacy and Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers at a national level to support our access and elimination goals. Own relationships with influential organisations such as NHSEI, UKHSA, DHSC, and clinical and operational stakeholders across the UK.

Insights Gathering and Opportunities Identification: Gather insights and identify opportunities to improve access to our vaccines at a national level. Collaborate with external stakeholders to implement interventions and programs that enhance accessibility for all eligible patients.

Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expertise on the national vaccination program environment, understanding how our customers and stakeholders operate within the system. Share insights to ensure we are well-positioned to achieve our objectives and key results.

Thought Leadership: Support the development of a corporate narrative and strategy that focuses on our aspiration to eliminate and overcome public health threats. Contribute thought leadership to foster innovation and drive our strategic focus.

Collaboration and Teamwork: I play an active role within a matrix team, frequently collaborating with colleagues from medical, marketing, external affairs, and other functions to achieve our business unit goals. I embrace diversity and foster an inclusive work environment.

Key Capabilities and Knowledge Requirements:

Vaccine Expertise: Strong background in vaccines with a diverse network of relationships demonstrating both breadth and depth of understanding of current and future vaccination programs.

National Immunisation Programs: Good understanding and knowledge of national immunisation programs’ evolution, development, and delivery. Familiarity with the roles of important organisations such as JCVI, UKHSA, NHS England, Department of Health and Social Care, and relevant government and public health agencies.

Healthcare Landscape: Ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of public health and commissioning knowledge across the healthcare/NHS landscape. Convert knowledge into thought leadership to support our strategic focus.

Scientific Communication: Ability to articulate compelling scientific narratives in support of our portfolio of vaccines.

Interpersonal Skills and Strategic Thinking: Strong interpersonal skills, strategic planning, innovative thinking, networking, and partnership capabilities. Embrace diversity and promote inclusivity in the workplace.
