Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing costs relating to building and civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost control and be adept at managing project finances effectively.
Duties:
– Prepare cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment required for construction projects
– Conduct cost analysis and provide financial advice on procurement strategies
– Monitor project progress and ensure costs remain within budget
– Prepare tender documents, contracts, and valuations
– Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient cost management
– Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role
– Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
– Excellent numerical abilities and proficiency in cost control
– Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
– Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field
– Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is desirable
