Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, ensuring a positive experience while promoting our products and services.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their queries in a friendly manner.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all customer interactions are addressed promptly.
- Maintain an organised workspace to facilitate efficient customer service.
- Perform basic maths calculations for transactions and pricing inquiries.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English, with the ability to assist Spanish-speaking customers if bilingual.
- Upsell products and services where appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Document customer interactions accurately for future reference and follow-up as needed.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability in time management to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing accurate information.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about our products and services are essential for success in this role.
