Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic expansion of our company within a competitive market environment. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and experience with CRM software.
Duties
1. Drive sales to meet or exceed targets through proactive engagement with customers, upselling, and effective product placement.
2. Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by addressing customer queries, resolving complaints, and offering personalized recommendations.
3. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to ensure that team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
4. Monitor inventory, assist with stock control, and ensure shelves are fully stocked and presented to a high standard.
5. Assist in the creation and execution of sales strategies to increase footfall and maximize sales opportunities, particularly during peak hours and promotional periods.
6. Ensure compliance with all postal requirement, health and safety regulations, including alcohol sales policies, and ensure that the store maintains a clean and safe environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: Proven experience in retail sales or supervisory roles, preferably in an off-license or similar environment min 6 months (required)
- Language Skills: Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Gujarati, Hindi, or other Asian languages is highly desirable to connect with a wide range of customers.
- Cultural Sensitivity: A strong understanding of local communities, cultures, and the ability to integrate these aspects into sales strategies.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
- Bachelor’s (preferred) RFQ 6+
License/Certification:
- Driving License (required)

Pay: £26,500.00-£34,700.00 per year
