Job Summary
A Building Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a building project, from conception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
Team Management: Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Budget Control: Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring adherence to the allocated budget.
Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the project meets or exceeds the required standards.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project challenges, such as delays, budget overruns, or design issues.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, investors, authorities, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and resolve any on-site issues.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular project reports to clients and other stakeholders.
Project Closeout: Manage project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and handover.
Required Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Auto-CAD 2D , 3D
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Technical knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Experience in budgeting and financial management.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficient in project management software.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Professional certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
Several years of experience in construction project management.

Pay: £32,534.56-£52,560.00 per year
