Joy is back with her success story of landing her 3rd offer after the data analysis bootcamp.
Let’s take a look at how it was achieved.

Overall view of the data analysis bootcamp
The data analysis bootcamp was enlightening and provided all the skills I needed to be an analyst.
First, the weekend classes were very structured, and the facilitator used 2-3 weeks each to teach the tools required to analyse data.
The bootcamp provided a comprehensive learning experience, allowing me to explore and master a variety of skills and tools such as MS Excel, PowerBI, SQL, and Tableau.
I was also assigned individual and group projects to work on to practicalise all the facilitator taught.
From there, I got assigned a project role of my choice to have practical work experience. The practical work experience played a significant role in securing my job offers.

Key benefits that stood Joy out
Post bootcamp, I leveraged much more on the Interview preparation support sessions and my optimised CV and LinkedIn.
During the support sessions, we had industry experts who gave weekly insights on the job market and how to land a role.
There were also practical sessions on what to do, what to say during interviews and how to fill out job applications.
The sessions truly helped me while applying for jobs.
How I secured my 1st, 2nd and 3rd role
As I mentioned earlier, I used my optimised CV from RKY Careers.
RKY Careers optimised my CV to show the work experience I had gotten during the bootcamp. It also showed the role I played during the work experience phase.
I applied to different companies to secure an analyst role, and in a short while, I started getting emails from recruiters.

Not long after, I secured my first role as a data analyst. A few months later, I secured my second data analyst role. This is the third offer for a Social Adult Care Analyst role.
It could have only been achieved with the data analysis bootcamp. The move I took to transition despite all fear was the right call.
Truly, it takes one decision to take the right step.
