When we sat down with Faith, her quiet confidence spoke volumes. Clad in a soft navy blouse, she smiled warmly as she began to reflect on her career transformation—a journey that took her from uncertainty to landing a Business Analyst role with the NHS.

“If you’d told me a year ago I’d be in this position, I wouldn’t have believed you,” she laughed. “I just knew I needed a change. I just didn’t know how to start.”

Before joining the RKY Careers PM/BA Bootcamp, Faith found herself in the same place many career-changers do—feeling stuck. She’d applied for roles in tech and analysis but kept hitting a wall.

Faith’s Experience at the PM/BA Bootcamp

Faith’s time at the bootcamp was transformational.

A turning point came during a live group task.

“We were analysing a process improvement case for a healthcare client, and I led the presentation. Afterward, one of the facilitator messaged me privately to say, ‘You’re ready. Don’t forget that.’ That stuck with me.”

By the time she completed the programme, Faith had not only gained hard skills but had grown into her professional identity.

“I stopped second-guessing myself. I knew I had something to offer—and the bootcamp helped me see that.”

Landing the Business Analyst Role with the NHS

Faith’s job search after the bootcamp was markedly different from before.

“I applied with purpose this time,” she said. “My CV was strong. My LinkedIn was optimised. I had mock interview practice. I was no longer guessing—I had a game plan.”

Not long after, she was shortlisted for a Business Analyst role at the NHS.

“I remember reading the email and just… sitting there. I couldn’t believe it. Then I screamed!” she laughed. “I immediately texted one of my mentors who helped me prep.”

The interview process was rigorous, but she went in feeling prepared.

“They asked real questions—how I’d gather requirements, how I’d deal with conflicting stakeholders, what tools I’d used. And all I could think was, ‘Thank God I did that case study!’”

A week later, the call came.

“They said, ‘We’re pleased to offer you the role.’ I just cried. I was holding my phone and crying.”

Since then, she’s settled into her new role, thriving in the NHS environment.

“Every day I see the value of what I learned. And every day, I’m grateful I took that leap.”
