From Multiple Rejections to KYC Analyst: Johnson’s Success Story

The Beginning of His Search

Previously a successful banker in Nigeria, Johnson moved to the UK hoping to land a KYC Analyst role. Unfortunately, he found the UK job market difficult to navigate and couldn’t find anyone to mentor him. He was repeatedly rejected for jobs, and his career dreams faded.

Several months later, Johnson attended a networking event where he met a former colleague from Nigeria who had recently transitioned to a Data Analyst after completing our Data Analysis Bootcamp. Johnson confided in his colleague about his struggles to find a reputable job, and his colleague was happy to share his success story.

The Bootcamp Experience

Within a few weeks, he landed multiple offers and eventually accepted a KYC Analyst role at Lloyds Bank.

I got not only one but 3 job offers as a KYC Analyst/ Financial Service Roles in top 3 banks in UK and felt it was huge offers not knowing that wasn’t all.

Just today I got another congratulatory mail from Lloyds’s bank offering me a KYC Analyst Role/Customer Service Advisory Officer. Now I believe what Ruky always say, that investment to upskill our brand is an investment in ourselves.
