Pelumi’s journey with RKY started way before she came to the UK, as she has been an ardent follower. Pelumi knew she would need the service of RKY, and eventually, that day arrived.

What was the 1st step you took?
I had started my preparation to travel and study in the UK for my master’s program. And the plan I had in mind was to get a job before I was done with school.
Before coming to the UK, I have been an ardent follower of RKY Careers since 2022. I knew I would need their service one day since they offer services to individuals in the UK and other environments.
And indeed, that day came.
How did you kickstart your plan upon arrival?
The first thing I did was to create a schedule for myself. And if I wanted to enrol in a boot camp at RKY Careers, I had to see how it would fit into my schedule. As a student, you must go to school and work and create time to attend RKY classes.
I met other folks in school and learned they had a similar plan but needed help following through. I decided to see the loopholes there so it won’t be a problem for me in the long run. And I am glad I did because it paid off.
With my school, boot camp, and work schedules all planned out, I was ready to proceed.

Which bootcamp did you enrol for at RKY Careers?
I enrolled for RKY’s Data Analysis Bootcamp. The bootcamp was well-detailed and explicit, thanks to the facilitator.
I learned to utilise tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Tableau. These tools sound technical, but the facilitator ensured that all was understood and taught.
These tools helped me hone my skills in the Data field. I was given data sets to work on for my project and had the chance to extract, analyse, visualise, and create a dashboard.

How did you secure a role as a Sales Data Analyst?
One of the perks and benefits I mentioned was weekly interview prep and career support sessions. During these sessions, different roles were mentioned in the data analysis field, and what intrigued me more was the role of a sales data analyst.
I began researching extensively what a sales data analyst does and the benefits of securing this role.
With my optimised CV showing the skills I had gotten from RKY, I began searching for jobs in line with this role. And just 3 months after my master’s program, I secured a role as a Sales Data Analyst.
And with this role came a pay of £40,000 per annum and a 5% annual bonus plus other benefits.
I am glad I joined the bootcamp because it helped me secure the role.
