How often do you hear people landing multiple business analyst roles in the UK? Not so much, right? Well, here’s your proof, as we’re about to share Joy’s story and how she secured multiple business analyst roles.

We had a brief conversation with her, and she shared her journey on this path. Get ready to hear this amazing story from two viewpoints: RKY Careers and Joy.

Her Live Project Phase

She was initially assigned to a PM-related role because of her prior interest in Project management. “I received a PM-related role during the live project but leaned towards business analysis and subsequently switched to that role. The Live project was the most amazing aspect for me in this bootcamp. I collaborated with various teams of software developers, business analysts, project coordinators, and the like.”

“I collaborated with the team for over 8 weeks in delivering projects using a combination of Waterfall and Agile Scrum Methodologies.”

How She Landed 2 Roles as a Business Analyst

Not long after Joy rounded up with the bootcamp, she began applying for jobs at different companies to secure a role as a business analyst. Joy exuded confidence because she knew she had acquired all the skill sets in the bootcamp.

“I started applying to different companies to secure my dream job. This was an easy process for me, and I got immediate responses. Of all the companies I applied to, 2 were really of great interest to me as that aligned much more with my desired role.”

“I decided to attend the interviews. They conducted the interview process smoothly and easily, asking me questions about what I had learned during the bootcamp. They inquired about the tools I would utilise to deliver a project, and I mentioned tools like Visio, Swim Lanes, and similar ones. Overall, my answer impressed them.”

“Not long after, I got both roles in two different companies. The first was as a procurement officer and the other as a business analyst and commercial officer.”

This was an excellent decision for Joy, as she had to choose which offer she should go for and which would be more beneficial to her.
