One day, in between a hilarious voice note and a wedding invite, a link to the <strong>RKY Careers Tech Accelerator Programme<\/strong> popped up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He didn\u2019t open it at first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when two of his friends\u2014both former bootcamp students\u2014mentioned it again on a video call, something clicked. They spoke about it with an energy that was contagious. Real projects. Real teams. He didn\u2019t expect the <strong>overwhelming support<\/strong> that followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the welcome session, he was met with warmth, structure, and surprising levels of detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working as a Product Owner on a real cross-functional team, Ahmed quickly found his rhythm. He led sprints, prioritised backlogs, co-created user stories, and coordinated with developers and designers. But beyond the technical skills, it was the <strong>RKY <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ecosystem\"><strong>ecosystem<\/strong> <\/a>that made the difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were mock interviews tailored to product roles, CV and LinkedIn sessions with real-time feedback, weekly accountability check-ins, and endless encouragement from the alumni community. Then smiled. \u201cAh,\u201d he said. \u201cThe Great Doughnut Debacle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He launched into a tale of how his team misinterpreted a dashboard requirement as a doughnut <em>ordering<\/em> feature because someone mentioned a &#8216;doughnut chart&#8217; in a Figma design. \u201cWe spent three hours debating frosting preferences before realising the stakeholder wanted a pie chart instead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The panel laughed. So did Ahmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That light-hearted moment broke the ice. But the true magic was the <em>people<\/em>\u2014the facilitators, the coaches, the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He still logs into the alumni group, answers questions from incoming cohorts, and joins webinars where past students share job search tips.
