What is the role about? Which skills do I need to learn to attain such a role? How do I enter the job market as a customer service specialist?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Individuals are asking questions like the ones above. As a job seeker, I know such questions are essential to ask. As such, questions will help you decide on your next career level.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toye asked himself those questions. He needed clarification on what to do and the next step to take. He reached out to RKY Careers via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/rkycareers?igsh=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==\">Instagram<\/a>, and truly, all the questions in his mind were answered.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-prompted-you-to-make-a-timely-decision-nbsp\">What prompted you to make a timely decision?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I wanted to transition and have an added skill with the previous skills I honed. In my research, I saw success stories on the RKY Careers Instagram page.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I went to RKY\u2019s website to better understand the courses being offered and the courses that are best suited for me.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After reviewing all the courses offered, I enrolled for the UK Compliance because it best suits my desired role.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-skills-did-you-gain-in-the-bootcamp-nbsp\">What Skills did you gain in the bootcamp?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I gained both soft and technical skills. The bootcamp is 5 weeks of intensive training.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kudos to the facilitator; during the first week, he covered many topics to learn.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The facilitator ensured that the other students and I learned all we needed to know about KYC | AML | CFT, Financial Crime | Sanctions, Regulatory Compliance, Data Protection &amp; GDPR.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the work experience phase, I worked on real-life cases to perform risk rating and enhanced due diligence onboarding for real-life entities. The project phase equipped me with real-life work experience needed to scale interviews and perform excellently in a real-life situation on the job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-will-you-summarise-your-learning-outcome\">How will you summarise your learning outcome?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end of the bootcamp, I got a CPD accredited Certificate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I gained a broader understanding of UK compliance laws, regulations, and company policies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was also introduced to critical criminal finance legislation to help recognise, assess and manage anti-money laundering within any business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-will-you-describe-the-aftermath-of-the-bootcamp-nbsp\">How will you describe the aftermath of the bootcamp?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the bootcamp, I started applying for jobs within the compliance sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With my optimised cv, which positioned my skill professionally, I began securing interviews. I was also privileged to be interviewed by one of my favourite firms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After numerous interviews, I secured a role as a customer service specialist.
