Chris had the passion to transition into tech, which was a new field for him to venture into. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He defied all odds and enrolled in RKY Careers project management boot camp. Chris needed work experience and the skills to prove he was fit for the role. Indeed, he got the work experience and skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking the first step\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I was a tech novice and needed the professional skill that would reflect on my CV. Not knowing what to do or the steps to take was a huge dilemma. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I learned about RKY Careers and the services offered when transitioning into tech. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, what stood out to me was the training and the perks and benefits of enrollment. I just knew that RKY Careers is the best fit for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The journey phase of the training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My journey began with a significant commitment- a 6-week intensive live classes training, which laid the foundation for the subsequent phases of the program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I learned the theoretical aspect of project management for 3 weeks and business analysis for 3 weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, I moved on to the live project phase, which is also the work experience phase. The work experience phase was for 2 months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training provided a comprehensive understanding of project management principles, frameworks and tools<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I learned how to define project scope, develop schedules, and communicate with stakeholders, among other skills I learned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the end of the bootcamp, I had learnt to deliver projects using in-demand frameworks such as waterfall and agile methodologies.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the things I mentioned that drew me more to RKY Cares was the perks and benefits of enrollment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I got benefits from CV and LinkedIn optimisation, CPD accredited certification, UK work experience, UK work reference, and the pre-bootcamp and post-bootcamp support sessions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These benefits moulded me and showcased the experience I gained from the bootcamp. With that, I connected with recruiters and started applying for jobs in line with the skills I had learnt.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the numerous applications sent out, one of the companies I applied to liked my profile and offered me a Junior Business Change Manager role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a junior business change manager, one of the roles I get to carry out is to define the programme or project benefits, assess the progress towards realisation and achieve measured improvements in business operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know I am fit for such a role because, thanks to RKY Careers and their supportive facilitators, I was equipped with the skills to execute it excellently.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
